Polo a Passion, a Tradition, a Lifestyle
You all know how much polo means to me, about my story of growing up in Argentina surrounded by horses and acres of land and the passion I created for this gentleman sport.
During my time in St. Moritz for the Snow Polo World Cup 2015, I met a wonderful person who captures in my opinion some of the nicest polo images in the circuit.
Irina Kazaridi from Russia, developed a passion for this imposing sport and the photography. I am so obsessed with her creations that I would like to share with you some of my favorite images from a grandiose location.
Enjoy the masterpieces and have a look at Irina’s webpage for more information.
Adolfo Cambiaso, World Nr. 1 ranked polo player and the greatest player in history.
Bio Irina Kazaridi
Attended art school in St Petersburg, followed by a program at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan.
Irina started photographing 5 years ago, as an autodidact and she automatically fell in love the camera.
In July 2013, she found herself at the Polo Club St. Tropez, where she shot her first series of Polo Images. Her adventure continued and she made it to the World Polo Capital for the 121 Open Championship of Palermo in Argentina. Her latest version of images is at the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz.
The most interesting reason for her to capture images of polo are the human emotions, the connection between the player and the horse so as the aesthetic elegance of the polo lifestyle. Thanks Irina!!
